ANALYSIS

SIZE
18.3km distributed in 5 blue, 4 red and 2 black slopes. A small ski resort, although with descents up to 800m.
DIFFICULTY
It's a pretty easy ski resort. Almost all the main slopes are blue and the red ones are not difficult. In addition, black slopes are very short.
DIVERSITY
Rosshütte distributes its slopes of different difficulties, between two unique hill sides.
LIFTS
Both the train and the funicular that goes up to Seefelder Joch are old and slow, moreover they have a frequency of approximately 15 minutes. The chair lifts and ski tow are correct. The organization and proper functioning of the skiing carpets in the beginner zone stand out positively.
QUALITY/PRICE
The adult price per day is 43.50€ in high season, very expensive. There is also a pass for all ski resorts of Seefeld, Happy Ski Card, for only 44.50€. It is quite worthwhile, because paying one more euro you can visit several ski resorts in a single day, which is possible since they are all quite small and connected by free buses.

LANDSCAPE
Rosshütte is located in an area of low mountains with much forest, it is very nice to ski among forest. The views towards the village of Seefeld are very beautiful, with the whole valley and the mountains around it. In addition, from Seefelder Joch we can enjoy the views towards Scharnitz and the closest mountains, such as Seefelder Spitze.
OTHERS
Seefeld town is known internationally and has many amenities and good atmosphere. In addition, you can perform other sports, it has a swimming pool, ice skating rink, cross-country skiing trails and biathlon and ski jump. In addition, the nocturnal descents through the forest by the slope 6b are awesome.

The best:

  • The views are very nice.
